We begin our look back on the year 2013, which will last until early next week, in the most festive way we know how: with animal videos! Do you realize that at this point we have been enjoying our weekly list of animal videos, The Petting Zoo, for TWO WHOLE YEARS? (A bit over two whole years, really.) Isn’t that insane?! Time flies when you’re watching two fat dogs play around in the snow with a monkey while the owner of the dogs refuses to just shut up and let it happen. (Which is just how the saying goes, not a reference to an actual animal video.) (Yet.) (2014?) One of those whole years was 2013, and — with ten new animal videos a week — it was jam-packed with quality vids. I’ve collected a few that are the most memorable and a few that are, if not the most memorable, just my personal favorites. I would like to share those with you now!
