The Petting Zoo: The Week’s Top 10 Animal Videos

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you all have a lot to be grateful for this year. Do you? Can you not think of anything in particular? Here are some ideas: Number one, you can be grateful that you’re alive. You woke up today and you have probably a whole day ahead of you, and you’ll probably even wake up tomorrow. Good for you! Ok, number two, you can be grateful for entertainment. Very entertaining! And that leads me to my third thing that you should be grateful for this holiday season: ANIMAL VIDEOS!!!!!!!! There’s nothing like the age-old holiday tradition of going around the Thanksgiving table and talking about which animal YouTube videos from that past year, in particular, you’re all grateful for. I, for one, am most grateful for this monkey video. Really brought some light to my darkest days. But we also have a lot of good ones in our top ten list today! There’s even A TURKEY ONE! (It’s of a few kids kind of tormenting a turkey and then the turkey flips out on them, which is admittedly not a very heartwarming Thanksgiving video but what are you gonna do.) So let’s get to it.

10. Clapping Puppy

9. Kitten Gets Dog’s Attention

8. Turkey Gets Revenge

7. Pile Of Pandas

6. Guinea Pigs Eating Grapes

5. Baby Elephant Takes Her First Mud Bath

4. Baby Uses Cat For A Pillow

3. Lovely Owls

2. Cat Gives Dog A Back Massage

1. Oskar The Blind Kitten Gets His First Toy

Oh my god, blind cat getting his first toy. I’m sorry that every single one of you is crying right now, but do remember that that’s what the holidays are for. Crying and crying and crying. Luckily there is a buffer of some ridiculous videos, like the “back massage,” which is perfect, and the BABY WITH A CAT PILLOW! Normally we (me and the computer) wouldn’t have placed a baby + cat video so high on the list because the baby (a non-animal) adds too much to the cuteness, but it’s Thanksgiving? I’ve mentioned it once or twice already, but it’s Thanksgiving now so let’s all just let loose a little. Congratulations, baby and cat! Pile of pandas, I know you probably were expecting to do a little better, and you’re very cute, don’t get me wrong, but you are literally just a pile of kind of non-moving pandas. We (me and the computer) are not so easily swayed. (Unless you’re owls, apparently.) Great job, everyone! Congratulations! I’m grateful for all of you!
