World Cup Fever! SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! Right, guys? SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! Get it? Sports talk. Has anyone been watching? I really like watching the World Cup, but I haven’t been watching this year. What a sad, but very interesting, story. Although, just because I haven’t been watching the World Cup doesn’t mean I haven’t been privvy to the Internet’s borderline-racist obsession with the vuvuzela. We get it, Internet! You find unusual (not that unusual) foreign traditions to be hilarious and/or annoying! “Those South Africans should shut up!” (1948-1994, 2010) No wonder the Internet loves Betty WHITE! (Haha. Dumb.) Anyway, soccer, you guys. And Fridays. And comments. Make some noise! (Get it? Vuvuzela reference. Your favorite. You racist.)

This Week’s Lowest Rated Comment
Ed. note: Sure. Worthy of downvoting. We do our best to get rid of the spam comments but some of them do get through. That being said, if a stray spam comment is the worst addition to the debate we’ve got going these days, we are doing great!
This Week’s Caption Contest Winner
Ed. note: Congratulations, west. You earned it!
This Week’s Editor’s Choice
Ed. note: Oh man, I would just like to congratulate everyone who participated in the The Wire Mash-Ups Party Game thread. I wasn’t really sure what to expect with that one because it was a game with a limited number of movable parts, but you guys went above and beyond. Honorable Mentions: The Herc Locker, Invasion of the Bodie Snatchers, The Stringer Bell and the Butterfly, and Proposition Joe Versus The Volcano, and Dude, Where’s My Carcetti.
