With traditional media feeling the strain of the 24-hour news cycle created by the web (as predicted in Sandra Bullock’s The Net), and many journalists finding themselves forced to compete at this frantically escalated rate of production or face being out of work, it only makes sense that the news will become more and more like a Mad TV sketch from 1994. Not that the rules for the news have changed at all. As always, those remain:
1. GET THEIR ATTENTION
2. Make them laugh
3. Parody it!
Nailed it. A perfect reporting! (Thanks for the tip, Michael.)
