Over the past few months, Eric Wareheim has changed the face of music videos. Literally. He put music videos into Photoshop, and he melted their faces with the Melty Tool. He has also changed the butt of music videos, using the same technique. Obviously, he’s doing important work. But now we have a new music video for The Avett Brothers, directed by Jody Hill (Eastbound and Down, The Foot Fist Way, Observe and Report) starring comedy’s own Andy Daly, and suddenly it’s like, HOLD ON A SECOND, there is a new guy who is directing great music videos in music video town. The best part is that this town IS big enough for the both of them, and these guys don’t have to compete with each other or be enemies or murder each other in the street at all. Friendship!
