Inventions are the duo of Matthew T. Cooper, who makes glassy organic ambient music as Eluvium, and Mark T. Smith, who makes triumphant instrumental post-rock with Explosions In The Sky. Together, they make slow, patient, thrumming pieces of beauty like “Peregrine,” a single from their forthcoming album Maze Of Woods. The Field, the Swedish minimal techno producer, is someone who knows a few things about patience and beauty. He’s taken “Peregrine” and turned it into a lovely, stretched-out, starry-eyed dance track. Listen to his reworking of the song below.
