Diplo has put out his own spin on last summer’s epic A. G. Cook/SOPHIE team-up “Hey QT.” The famous producer — who recently put out a new Major Lazer track and a whole collaboration as Jack Ü — lightens the track up, adds some pinging video game blips, and tacks on a very Diplo-esque deep drop into the chorus. As someone who is a huge fan of the original, he doesn’t really manage to do anything that compelling with it, but at least he doesn’t completely ruin the magic. The track premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show last night. Listen below.
