A couple of months ago, the hip-hop community was shaken when A$AP Mob co-founder A$AP Yams, born Steven Rodriguez, died suddenly and tragically. Now, a few more details have emerged. According to a tweet by Jon Caramanica, a New York Times reporter who wrote a profile of Yams in 2013, the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled that Yams’ death was an accident caused by acute mixed drug intoxication. He was 26 years old — too young.
