When last we heard from the xx’s production mastermind Jamie xx, he’d recorded “Sunrise,” a track for the soundtrack of the experimental short film Continuum. And while Jamie doesn’t seem any closer to dropping his solo debut, he does have a new track for us. His fellow producer Jon Hopkins debuted the new track “Alba” in a recent mix for BBC Radio 1, and it’s a soft and fluttery downtempo instrumental.
