Birmingham’s Sloss Festival Announces Inaugural Lineup

Alabama is getting a new music festival in the form of Sloss, a new music and arts festival that will take place over two days in Birmingham. The inaugural lineup is led by Modest Mouse, Band Of Horses, Primus, and local soul band St. Paul & the Broken Bones. The fest also promises that another major headlining act will be announced in a few weeks. Other bands on the lineup include Cage The Elephant, Young The Giant, Lord Huron, Tyler The Creator, Purity Ring, First Aid Kit, Manchester Orchestra, Sturgill Simpson, the New Pornographers, Robert DeLong, and a handful more. Sloss will take place 7/18-19 at the Historic Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark. Tickets go on sale 3/27 at 10AM CDT.
