Calexico’s new album Edge Of The Sun came out this week, and to mark the occasion the Arizona band played the lead track on Conan. “Falling From The Sky” is more of their reliable, latin-infused Americana — and their trumpeters are some of the best in the game, period. On the album version, Ben Bridwell of Band Of Horses contributes, but he couldn’t make the Conan appearance.
