Barbarossa is James Mathé, the London singer-songwriter who is releasing his third album Imager this May. Mathé is a member of José González’s band and worked closely with him as well as Ash Workman and Katy Young for the record. Gonzáles gets an official credit on the third single from the album, the aching, string-heavy “Home.” Listen below.
