Milwaukee three-piece Jaill can be adequately summed up by their goofy, grotesque music videos like “Perfect Ten” and “House With Haunting,” which depict garbage-eaters and bong-smoking ghosts, respectively. The philosophy being: Drive the amp, turn up all the colors, and embrace all the grit that comes into view. Their brand of jangly psych-pop is superbly polished, but doesn’t bother to always color inside the lines. Their new single, “Got an F,” shines with creamy synths and a dance-y guitar line. The trio’s fourth album, Brain Cream, promises more tightly packed pop songs that are just as impossible to resist. Hear the song below.
