Dream-pop’s foremost duo Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally are the forces behind Beach House, and they’ve announced a new album titled Depression Cherry. It is their fifth studio album and will be out this August. They recorded it at Bogalusa, Louisiana’s Studio In The Country with Chris Coady from November 2014 through January 2015. On the Sub Pop site, the band notes that this time period includes the anniversaries of both Roy Orbison and John Lennon’s respective deaths. Along with the album the group have announced a world tour; check out dates below.
