In the long-running “Black Cab Sessions” online video series, artists perform their songs while sitting in the backseats of London taxicabs. Last week, Run The Jewels and Mac DeMarco were both in town for the Field Day festival, and they both recorded their own sessions. In their episode, Run The Jewels and guest singer Boots did a contemplative version of “Early,” from last year’s incredible RTJ2 album, with Killer Mike and El-P rapping in relatively subdued watching-the-scenery fashion, over the song’s instrumental track. Meanwhile, DeMarco did a breezy acoustic rendition of “The Way You’d Love Her,” the first single from his forthcoming mini-album Another One. Watch both performances below.
