Calling Lou Barlow a “rock star” is a bit of a stretch, but he’s among a handful of artists performing albums in their entirety in a series of London performances put together by All Of Tomorrow’s Parties.
So The Guardian asked these bands which albums they’d most like to see live. Chan Marshall picked Bob Dylan’s Desire, and apparently they call her Cat Power over there like it’s her name.
Other highlights include Evan Dando’s choice of High Time by MC5, and a predictably obscure choice from Jon Spencer: The Monks’ Black Monk Time.
Unless I’m just behind the black monk times. I promise, no more puns, ever. I will also maybe break that promise.
