Orlando’s You Blew It! have been on a roll ever since releasing their 2014 LP, Keep Doing What You’re Doing, and they haven’t shown signs of letting up since. The band signed to Jade Tree Records and dropped their Pioneer Of Nothing EP at the beginning of this year, and now, they’ve released a brand new song for the mail-order Singles Club. “Punker Than Thou” mediates the space between action and reaction, speech and silence. You Blew It! have always been exceedingly good at slowing down time, pointing out small discrepancies in someone’s body language or in an interaction that speaks louder than words better left unsaid. This particular song catches on an observation: “You bite your tongue and think about/ How you have nothing to say.” Listen below.
