Rapper Gift Of Gab and producer Chief Xcel, together known as Sacremento rap duo Blackalicious, took to PledgeMusic earlier this year to raise funds for their first album in a decade. And it worked. Imani, Vol. 1 is now 114 percent funded. Back in January, Gab told Exclaim! that Imani, Vol. 1 is the first of of a three-part series. “Blacka,” premiered today via Noisey, is a Black Power anthem, banging with the utmost pride. Clearly, Blackalicious are far from throwing in the towel. Listen below.
