If you’ve ever had a conversation with a young-ish Anglophile music-lover, you’ve probably heard of London indie rock band the Maccabees. And if you’ve talked with a slightly older UK-oriented music-lover (like, say, High Fidelity’s Rob Gordon) you might have encountered cult-beloved Scottish experimental rockers the Beta Band. Now, Steve Mason of the Betas has remixed the Maccabees’ new Marks To Prove It single “Something Like Happiness” with his signature “folktronica” style. The remix is four times the length of the original, as you’ll hear below.
