Because Meryl Streep is a goddess and literally never half-asses anything, she actually learned how to play guitar for her starring role as an aging rocker in Ricki And The Flash and, because she’s famous, she learned from the best. The Jacob Burns Film Center has just shared some footage of Streep getting a guitar lesson than none other than Neil Young, who also happens to be an aging rocker, so I’m sure she asked him for some character background information as well. Young mostly plays in the clip, but Streep has a whole movie to show off her chops, so it’s cool. Watch below.
