The late, great Tower Records is now the subject of a documentary. Colin Hanks’ Kickstarter-funded feature, All Things Must Pass: The Rise And Fall Of Tower Records, premiered at SXSW this year and is slated to hit theaters this fall. The film chronicles Tower Records’ rise from its conception as a small-town hole-in-the-wall in the 1960s to a global chain to its demise in 2006 when the company filed for bankruptcy. Dave Grohl (who used to work at one of Tower’s stores), Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, and more appear in the film. Watch the trailer below, and learn more here.
All Things Must Pass: The Rise And Fall Of Tower Records will be in theaters 10/16.
