Joanna Newsom’s ecstatic and sorrowful “Sapokanikan” is so good that, upon its emergence last month, it stood out in one of the stronger weeks for new songs in recent memory. It has us anxious for Divers to arrive and to see Newsom and her harp conjuring its beauties in person. Well, those of us in North America will probably have to wait until 2016 for that, but our European friends get the privilege of seeing Newsom live before this year is out.
