On The Tonight Show, the Roots members ?uestlove and Captain Kirk Douglas have a recurring bit called Black Simon & Garfunkel. They dress in mock turtlenecks like actual Simon & Garfunkel, they get that faraway look in their eyes, and they sing solemn, harmonized versions of current pop hits. They’ve done songs like “Shake It Off,” “Timber,” “Royals,” and “Get Lucky.” Last night, they took on the Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face,” probably the biggest song anyone came out with this summer. And midway through a special guest came out and joined them: The actual (white) Art Garfunkel, game enough to sing along with this goofy version of the Weeknd’s song. Check it out below.
How long do you think it’ll be before Paul Simon shows up for one of these?
