The great Swedish dance-pop star Annie is coming back next week with a new EP called Endless Vacation, and we posted its excellent sighing opener “Cara Mia” last week. This morning, Annie shared “WorkX2,” another EP track and a very different one. Where “Cara Mia” was subtle and emotive, “WorkX2″ is just a big, shameless dancefloor sprint. The great British producer Richard X, who has worked with Annie many times over the years, is behind the boards on this one, just as he was on “Cara Mia.” Annie and Richard X co-wrote the track with Hannah Robinson, their “Chewing Gum” collaborator.
