Hot As Sun is the très chic electro pop project of Los Angeles-based songstress Jamie Jackson. Her 2013 debut, Night Time Sound Desire, embraced the synth palette of ’80s new wave with the playfulness of an all-day pool party. Now, she’s gearing up to release a new EP titled Little Friend, and its first single “I Can Feel Your Love” saunters down the catwalk with enough pop hooks to make Carly Rae Jepson jealous. The single arrives with a heartwarming message from Jackson herself:

“I Can Feel Your Love” is about the night my husband WAZ and I conceived our daughter Ruby Lou. I was pregnant while working on this EP. She’s given me the courage to open up and dive deeper with my writing.
