Neil Young Plays “Vampire Blues” & “L.A.” For The First Time In Over 40 Years

Neil Young is currently on tour with Promise Of The Real as his backing band, and he’s been dusting off some old material that hasn’t been played in a long time — over 40 years, to be more precise. At his show in Eugene, Oregon last week, he played his oil industry critique “Vampire Blues” for the first time since 1974. He played it again as the encore for his concert at Inglewood, CA’s The Forum last night, where he also played “L.A.” for the first time since 1973. Young also launched a new website today, goearth.org, a resource for finding environmental, sustainable farming, and social justice organizations. Check that out here.
