BOSS is the newly formed trio of Warpaint vocalist/guitarist Theresa Wayman, All We Are bassist Guro Gikling, and drummer Sarah Jones, who’s played with Hot Chip and Yeasayer. They’re about to release their debut single on Dan Carey’s label Speedy Wunderground, and he also produced the track. “I’m Down With That” is a buoyant groove built from fuzzy synths, an almost tropical guitar line, and Wayman’s hazy vocals: “If you’re gonna walk through hell…and sing angelic…you’re gonna need a little psychedelic.” Listen below via Dummy.
