Grandtheft recently signed with Mad Decent, and he teamed with label head Diplo on a dope remix of Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The Toronto DJ/producer has also lent his talents to the likes of Katy Perry, Calvin Harris, and T.I. But his work with lesser known artists, collected on the new Quit This City EP, is actually even more rewarding than his superstar remixes. The songs are internet-age genre melds that bounce and float like cartoon party music. There’s a real sense of familiarity in them, but also possibility.
