Stream Swings Sugarwater

The young D.C. trio Swings make a warm, sad, effervescent sort of indie rock. They’re big on instrumental interplay, and at times, they sound a bit like Joan Of Arc or one of the other bands on the furthest-out wings of the early-’00s emo scene. But they’re also not afraid to try out Auto-Tuned vocals or jazz-addled arrangements. We’ve posted their songs “Dust” and “Sea,” and their debut album Sugarwater comes out on Friday. The FADER has a stream; check it out below.

Sugarwater is out 11/13 on Exploding In Sound.
