Yep, that’s right, it’s already time for holiday music. In a few days, Amazon is putting out their Indie For The Holidays playlist, a collection of original holiday-themed songs by the likes of Rogue Wave, YACHT, Anna Von Hauswolff, and SOAK. We’ve already premiered Sondre Lerche and Jherek Bischoff’s contribution, “Surviving Christmas,” and now we’re hearing another: “What Begins On New Years Day,” a two-minute nugget by the ever-prolific Guided By Voices frontman Robert Pollard.
