Golden Daze’s “Salt” sounds like a long-lost Beach Boys demo dipped in psychedelic dream-pop. The LA duo’s latest track employs gauzy layers of feel-good guitars and breathy vocals in service of sparkly, melodic, shoegaze-inflected rock that’ll send you into mental realms you never knew existed. Somehow it exists in the same sphere as both Childhood and Wavves. “Salt” is taken from Golden Daze’s self-titled debut, to be released next February. Listen below.
