Poliça’s excellently titled United Crushers is coming this March, and today they shared the second advance single following “Lime Habit.” After airing on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, “Wedding” makes its web debut here. Here’s Channy Leaneagh with some background on the track:

“Wedding” is about the marriage between the militarization of police in America and the drug trade. How they feed off of each other and get fat and powerful at the expense of all of us. It is a serious song, but I hope it moves you to hope all the same.

Moving to this one should be no problem, Leaneagh. Beyond the intriguing subject matter, “Wedding” is a fierce, grooving monster of a song. Hear it below.
