Eddie Vedder Covers The Who With SNL‘s 1994 Alumni

It’s weirdly heartening to see that the various Saturday Night Live cast members of the early- to mid-’90s are all still close with one another. Last night, Adam Sandler did a show at Seattle’s Paramount Theater, and he basically brought the show’s entire 1994 male cast with him: David Spade, Rob Schneider, Tim Meadows, Norm MacDonald. And, as Alternative Nation reports, he also brought someone who might’ve joined the show’s cast if he wasn’t so busy back then: Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, who came out to save the group from what had been a euphorically disastrous cover of the Who’s “My Generation.” Watch a fan-made video below.

Honestly, though, they should’ve let Norm MacDonald sing the whole song.
