After Monday night’s Grammy Awards, for some as-yet-unexplained reason, Paul McCartney, Beck, and Taylor Hawkins all tried to get into a post-Grammy party being thrown by Tyga. They were all turned away at the door. TMZ posted video of the three of them being unable to get in, and it became a whole story. On his show last night, Jimmy Kimmel gave Tyga a chance to explain what the hell happened. He blamed the disrespect on the fire marshall — “Tweet the fire marshall, don’t tweet me.” He also said said that it wasn’t really his party; he was just getting paid to perform. And he said that if he’d known that McCartney was out there, he would’ve gone outside with the microphone and brought McCartney up to perform with him, which is a pretty funny image. Sadly, the world will never get to hear McCartney’s luminous backing harmonies over “Rack City.” Watch the Kimmel bit below.
Tyga’s Dope castmate Vince Staples also weighed in:
Tyga said on Scandal that he the reincarnated Michael Jackson so why would he let Paul in the party after The Girl is Mine? Y'all dumb.

Note that Tyga didn’t mention Beck at all. Tyga doesn’t give a fuck about Beck.
