The always-prolific Will Oldham has a new album coming out next month: Epic Jammers And Fortunate Little Ditties, a full-length collaboration with the experimental Chicago trio Bitchin’ Bajas. The first track we’ve heard is “Your Hard Work Is About to Pay Off, Keep On Keeping On.” It’s short but also warm and devotional and, if you hear it in the right mood, genuinely inspirational. The song’s music video comes from director Olivia Wyatt, who made a light-bending kaleidoscope of the Dance of a Thousand Hands, a classical Chinese dance. Check it out below, via Nowness.
