Earlier this week, “All Me”/”Partition”/”Amen” producer Key Wane put a beat under Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo a cappella “I Love Kanye.” Now boom-bap legend DJ Premier has done the same, telling Pitchfork, “I’m a street DJ and when a good a cappella is naked, you put some clothes on it.” I imagine we’ll be hearing more of these in the coming days.
