We don’t know what they’re up to yet, but as Billboard points out, Justin Timberlake recently posted an Instagram of himself in the studio with old collaborator Pharrell. The only caption is the word “Currently…” Those guys have made some serious jams together in the past: “Like I Love You”! “Senorita”! And judging by 2013’s dismal The 20/20 Experience – 2 Of 2 album, it might be time to put Timberlake’s longstanding creative partnership with Timbaland to bed. So this could be something! Or not. Both of those guys have been living on cheese island for years. But I remain optimistic, even in the face of this video of Pharrell talking.
