Last year, The New York Times posted a self-serious and self-serving making-of video of Justin Bieber, Diplo, and Skrillex talking about the hit song “Where Are Ü Now,” featuring three people who should probably never be allowed to talk about their “process” on camera doing just that. Now, Thao Nguyen of Thao & The Get Down Stay Down and tUnE-yArDs’ Merrill Garbus have rightfully parodied the video in a new short for Funny Or Die. They break down “Astonished Man,” a track from Thao’s recent Garbus-produced album A Man Alive. Watch via Pitchfork below.
