The jazz guitarist Dave Harrington used to be half of Darkside, the spacey electronic duo, alongside Nicolas Jaar. And on Become Alive, the forthcoming debut from his Dave Harrington Group, we hear evidence of his experience in both jazz and electronic music. It’s an album that manages to be improvisatory and atmospheric at the same damn time.
