Elvis Costello has performed a cover of the O’Jays’ 1972 single “Back Stabbers” live in the past, but he just released a formal studio version for the Vinyl soundtrack. The HBO show debuted a new compilation today, which features Charli XCX’s lackluster rendition of the Stooges’ “No Fun,” as well as Julian Casablancas’ take on the Velvet Underground’s “Venus In Furs.” Listen to Costello’s version of “Back Stabbers” below.
