Just in time for the homecoming stop on their tour in support of their album Stand Up And Speak, underground dance duo DJDS have remixed Beyoncé’s Lemonade standout “Hold Up.” The duo has sped-up and chopped Bey’s vocals, repeating the line, “It’s such a shame to let this good love go waste” over intricate drums and pulsing synths before the original hook of “Hold up, they don’t love you like I love you” does its duties again, although at a much quicker pace. I’m still rocking with the original and probably will be for a long time, but this is a solid repurposing to get you moving. Check it out.
