Chvrches took to Annie Mac’s BBC 1 radio show to unveil a new version of their Every Open Eye standout “Bury It” for the upcoming special-edition reissue of the album. They’ve recruited Hayley Williams of Paramore to once again join them on the song after performing it together last year in Nashville. Lauren Mayberry and Williams sound amazing together in harmony on the humongous hook “Bury it and rise above” on top of a layered bed of frenetic, infectious synths and hard-hitting drums. Williams told Annie Mac that the song “felt really natural” to sing and record, and that chemistry definitely comes across. Listen.
