Dan Boeckner’s long-running project Operators released a new album, Blue Wave, earlier this year, which means it made perfect sense for them to perform for A.V. Club’s Undercover video series this time around. They chose to cover the Nena classic “99 Luftballons,” though they did the slightly less impressive English-language version.
