Trim is a gruff, authoritative London rapper associated with James Blake’s 1-800 DINOSAUR label, and he’ll release his debut album 1-800 DINOSAUR Presents Trim next week. The early single “Before I Lied” is one of the most impressively weird grime tracks I’ve heard in recent memory, but the off-kilter, James Blake-produced “RPG” seems likely to get more attention, so it makes sense that that song has a video now. In director Natalia Stuyk’s clip, we see Trim transformed into a horde of glitchy clones and outlined against bright, colorful backgrounds. Check it out below.
