So it seems Virginia sing-rapper D.R.A.M. is going by his Twitter handle Big Baby D.R.A.M. now, but he’s still pumping out the same old soulful dopeness as of late. He’s had a couple stellar one-offs with the Lil Yachty-assisted “Broccoli” and a feature on Brighton producer salute’s “One More Chance,” along with the former receiving the visual treatment.

Today he continues his little streak with “Cute.” His voice floats over playful synths and intricate, stuttered trap drums for a feel-good track in which he professes his admiration for a girl he wants to take on a date. It’s funny to hear the words bitch and cute in the same sentence, but that little bit of edge is needed to keep it from going off the corny deep end. Exhibit A: “I choose you like a Pokemon.” Exhibit B: “I move fast like a shooting star.” So, yeah. But it’s a nice little fun-filled, lighthearted ditty for your crush or sweetheart. Listen.
