The show must go on, and that’s what it did when Steve Harwell apparently left Smash Mouth’s headlining set at the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival last night before the band played its biggest hits. Harwell reportedly left the stage after collapsing and was taken away in an ambulance as the rest of the band was once again forced to perform “I’m A Believer” and “All Star” without him. As “All Star” goes, “Hey now, you’re a rock star, get the show on, get paid.”

The lead singer left the stage and was taken away in an ambulance. The band then performed "I'm a Believer" and "All Star" without him.

Some speculated Harwell was too drunk or high. Could’ve been heat stroke too. Take it easy, though, Smash Mouth:

We have reached out to the band and will update if we hear back. Below, find footage of “All Star” and the crowdsurfing Shrek.
So Steve ended up having to leave a few songs before this because he collapsed on stage my mom saw them out a bag of ice on him backstage and he left in an ambulance. One of the security guards that my mom made friends with came up and told us that he was having chest pains and they thought that it might be a heart attack. #smashmouth
UPDATE: Smash Mouth tell Stereogum that Steve is fine now.
