When he’s not clarifying whether or not he’s gone into real estate ventures or worked with other artists, James Blake actually makes and performs music. He’s done both recently with the magnificent Vince Staples. The two did a remix of The Colour In Anything standout “Timeless” at Glastonbury in which Vince turns in a long, incredible verse about capturing fleeting moments with a lover. It turns out they’ve recorded it as well. Blake will also be taking Staples and troubadour Moses Sumney on his North American tour. I have to say I approve of Blake’s collab choices, sorry not sorry HudMo. Listen to the “Timeless” remix below.
Blake’s The Colour In Anything and Staples’ Prima Donna are out now.
