The euphoric Virginia sing-rapper D.R.A.M. is on one hell of a run right now; his Lil Yachty collab “Broccoli” was a legit song-of-the-summer contender. And today, he’s come out with a new one called “Cash Machine.” It’s fucking great. The song is built around a big, funky piano loop from producer Ricky “Wallpaper” Reed, and it’s got D.R.A.M. braying and falsetto-wailing about how he doesn’t have to deal with anymore bullshit now that he’s paid. Check it out below, via Miss Info.
D.R.A.M. is touring this fall, and he appears to have absolutely no album-release plans, which seems oddly revolutionary. Also, I recently learned that his name stands for “Does Real Ass Music,” which is too great.
