As of this morning, our reigning Album Of The Week is Stage Four, the new one from the fearsome, hardcore-damaged Los Angeles band Touché Amoré. The album is a sort of concept-piece, frontman Jeremy Bolm’s story about watching his mother die of cancer. It is intense. The album is out Friday, and we’ve posted three of its songs: “Palm Dreams,” “Displacement,” and “Skyscraper.” Now the band have shared the titanic “Rapture,” which might be the single most intense and shattering song on the album. Listen to it below.
Stage Four is out 9/16 on Epitaph.
