Florida punks Merchandise are set to drop their latest album, A Corpse Wired For Sound, at the end of the week. We’ve already heard a few good tunes from the LP: “Flower Of Sex,” “End Of The Week,” and “Lonesome Sound.” Today, the band got a bit of a heroes’ welcome in the same neighborhood frontman Carson Cox grew up in on Tampa Bay’s Morning Blend. They ripped through “Lonesome Sound” in the the tiny studio, and it’s apparent their sound is much bigger than the room. If Cox’s parents still live in the neighborhood, he probably woke them up, just like the old days. Watch the performance below.
